Syrian Army Aviation. File photo.Raqqa (Syria News) The Syrian Air Force has intensified its air strikes on the headquarters and gatherings of the Islamic State group in the southern countryside of Raqqa, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.
The source said in a statement that the air strikes hit the Islamic State militants headquarters and gatherings, located south of al-Zamla Village and in the city of Madan, in the southern countryside of Raqqa, destroying several headquarters and vehicles, as well as killing a number of terrorists.
Furthermore, air strike carried out by the Syrian Army Aviation killed several members of the Islamic State, and destroyed their vehicles in the eastern countryside of Homs.
It is noteworthy that the Wrath of Euphrates operation was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in Raqqa Province, in order to capture the so-called capital of the caliphate in the city.
